There are few things greater than a marching band in a Mardi Gras parade.
I won’t be in Louisiana for the New Orleans Film Festival on October 12th to catch the world premiere of THE WHOLE GRITTY CITY, a documentary about the New Orleans high school marching bands that urge on those big Mardi Gras floats. Toil and death and music. Someone’s gotta go check it out for me.
This film also has one of the best trailers I’ve ever seen.
